Richard Webster Snyder age 78 of Cottondale, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020 in Dothan, AL.
He was born on November 25, 1941 in New York to the late Charles Webster & Florence Snyder. Richard has been a resident of Cottondale for the past fifteen years moving here from Ocala, Fl. He started his own business as a land surveyor working for 38 years before retiring.
Richard loved farming and caring for his livestock, but his greatest passion was team roping in the rodeo circuit. He was a member of the PRCA, the FCA, and the Gurney Geiger Rodeo.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard is survived by his loving wife Donna G. Snyder of Cottondale, his son Richard Webster Snyder, Jr. and wife Brittany of Ft. McCoy, FL, one daughter Judy Lynn Ogden of Osteen, Florida, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Richard is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Richard will be held at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, June 18, 2020 in the Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Hall officiating.
Burial will follow in the Marvin Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until time of service. Williams Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
