Preston B. Coulliette, age 78, of Marianna, FL, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 at his residence.
Born on June 20, 1943, Preston was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. Preston enjoyed fishing, bowling and spending time with his family and dog, Bentley. He proudly retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant. He was mainly stationed in Asia during his service and received numerous medals including the Vietnam Service Medal and the Outstanding Unit Award. Preston was married to the love of his life, Karen, for over 51 years. He also loved to meet his friends every morning at Hardee’s to eat breakfast and fellowship.
Preston was preceded in death by his parents, Omie and Angus Coulliette; one brother, James Coulliette, as well as one sister, Ora Connor.
Preston is survived by his loving wife, Karen Coulliette of Marianna, FL; son, Travis Coulliette (Laura) of Gainesville, FL; daughters, Tonya Coulliette (Jorge) of New Orleans, LA, Tracee Womack (Bryan) of Tampa, FL; special niece, Selena Coulliette and her daughter, Alexis; as well as many special nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Damascus Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Johnson and Charles Powell officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the United States Air Force. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home will be directing.
The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until the time of service at the church.
