On 7-4-20 at approximately 2:19 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to Arrowhead Campgrounds to a reported domestic physical altercation. Upon arrival Deputies learned from a female complainant that her 19 year-old son, Josiah Hernandez, had struck his 13 year-old brother multiple times following a verbal dispute. Bruising and redness about the face of the juvenile victim corroborated their account of the incident. When the mother attempted to intervene, she was reportedly struck several times by Hernandez. Her injuries were evident also. Josiah Hernandez was arrested and lodged in the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance. He was charged with Domestic Violence Battery and Domestic Violence Child Abuse.
