Olin Dwan Dudley, 83, of Grand Ridge passed away Friday, Feb. 4, 2022 at home. He was born and raised in the Shady Grove Community and had recently moved back home from Nashville, Tennessee.
He had many interests including maintaining and flying his private plane, attending National Air Races, and traveling around the world. Olin enjoyed the company of his family and friends, especially around an old-fashioned bonfire. He retired as Mechanic Supervisor for American Airlines and as Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.
Olin was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Enich Dudley; and his parents, Harvey “Sug” and Duchee Dudley.
He is survived by his son, Ricky Dudley (Amy); daughter, Ronda Staggs Moon (Jeffery); and his daughter, Molly Dudley Stevens; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Robert “Bobby” Dudley (Lois), Paul Dudley (Mary); along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Grand Ridge with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
