Deacon Odell Lewis age 78 of Campbellton, FL passed away Saturday, September 21st at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama, Surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p. m. Saturday, September 28th at New Bethel C. M. E. Church located at 2487 Highway 2 in Campbellton, FL where Reverend Oscar Massey is pastor, Reverend Jessie F. Rodgers eulogist officiating. Interment will follow in the Holyneck Church Cemetery with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton directing.
A public viewing will held from 4:00 to 6:00 p. m. Friday, September 27th at The Shira Sr. and Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel located at 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton, Florida..
Deacon Lewis was born to Robert Lee Lewis, Sr. and Martha Lee Martin-Lewis on October 2nd, 1940 in Jackson County Florida. He accepted Christ as his personal savior early in life. He married the love of his life on August 3, 1959, to his union five children were born. He moved to Tampa, Florida where he raised his family. He came home a number of years ago and joined St. Phillip M. B. Church where he served faithfully until his health began to fail.
He was a very out-going and fun loving person, who loved people and having fun. His hobbies included spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.

Gloria Underwood (Larry) of Campbellton, FL, Donald Lewis and Christopher Lewis of Tampa, FL;
Four Siblings: Mary J. Hoover of Campbellton, FL; RD Lewis (Ida) of Tampa, FL; Lola B. Capehart of Dade City, FL; and Robert L. Lewis (Carrie) of Tampa, FL;
Sister-in-law: Betty Lewis of Tampa, FL and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
