Ms. Lakeisha Ward age 32 of Campbellton, FL passed away, Tuesday October 6th at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL.
A Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 17th at the St. Paul – New Bethel Cemetery located 5180 Hwy 273 Campbellton, FL with Reverend Earnestine Daniels officiating and with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, October 16th at the Shira Sr. and Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel located at 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton, FL.
Lakeisha Andrea Ward was born August 7, 1988 to the late Tommy Sorey and Patricia Ann Ward in Marianna, FL.
She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Friendship C. M. E. Church in Campbellton, Florida. At the age of 13 she served on the finance and trustee boards. She was a member of the choir and the director of the youth ministry. She was a faithful active member until her health began to fail.
She was preceded in death by her father: Tommy Sorey; grandparents: Nazaree Knox Walker, Freddie Lee Ward and James Sorey; uncle: Anthony Bernard Sorey
She leaves to cherished memories with; her son: Tomias J.
