Ms. Ethel Mae Ellis, age 91, of Marianna, Florida went home to be with the Lord on November 29, 2021 at the Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center in Marianna, Florida.
Ms. Ellis was born on September 30, 1930 in Marianna, Florida to Eva Ellis Pittman and Robert Pittman. She was a seamstress by trade, of which she enjoyed for many years. She had a courageous fight with infantile paralyzes (Polio), all of her life and never complained.
Ms. Ellis is survived by her niece and nephews: Gwen Mitchell Robinson and husband Amos of Marianna, Florida, Richard Pittman of Miami Gardens, Florida and Donald J. Pittman of Graceville, Florida; several great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM, Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Orange Hill Cemetery in Marianna, Florida with the Reverend Riley Henderson officiating, under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.
CDC COVID guidelines will be observed.
