Ms. Dorothy Williams, of Greenwood, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.
Graveside Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 2:00 P. M. from the cemetery of Gethsemane Church of Christ Written in Heaven located at 4599 Wintergreen Road in Greenwood, Florida were Superintendent Horace Horne is pastor with Minister Genoa Williams, Minister Trevis Scott and Elder Elizabeth Jones, officiating.
Vann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance will be followed for social distancing and wearing of asks for everyone’s safety during the viewing and the funeral service.
Ms. Williams leaves to celebrate a life of lasting love and memories, a loving and devoted family:
One Daughter: Jasmine Shaniece Garrett of Greenwood, Florida
Two Grandsons: Brayden Tavoris Garrett and Bryson Allen Sherman both of Greenwood, Florida
Four Sisters: Rebecca (Charlie) Williams, Cynthia (Elmore) Garrett and Sandra (Jimmy) Tiggs all of Greenwood, Florida and Lorise Johnson of Bascom, Florida
One Brother: Norman Williams of Marianna, Florida
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
