Mrs. Vera Spears, of Cottondale, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Friday, August 25, 2023, at her residence.
Homegoing services for Mrs. Vera Smith Spears, will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023, 11:00 AM at Bethlehem A.M.E. Church, 3100 Lovewood Rd., Cottondale, FL 32431 with Rev. Carl Hill, Pastor Officiating.
Interment will follow in Bethlehem A.M.E. Church Cemetery.
Vann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Public viewing will be held Friday, September 1, 2023, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving children: Margaret (Wendell Henderson) Spears, Betty Spears and Wayne (Linda) Spears
Three grandchildren: Brian Wilson, Cornel Britt and Ebony B. (Andre) Hannah
Three step-grandchildren: Tammy, Tracy, Sherie
Great grandchildren: Jordan, Tia, Angel, AJ, Quavius and Bailey
One great-great granddaughter: Luna
Brother-in-law: James Britt
Sister-in-law: Ruthie Mae Britt Clark
Special friend and classmate: Gertrude Long White and a host of loving nieces, nephews, neighbors, church family and friends.
