Mrs. Joyce Ann Smith age 61 of Malone, FL, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Jackson County Hospital in Marianna, FL. Memorialization will be by cremation.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 22nd at the Shira Sr. and Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel located at 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton, FL with Rev. Melinda T. Smith and Sister Angela Bowers officiating and McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing.
Joyce Ann Smith was born on October 23, 1959 to the late Jimmie Davis and the late Annie L. Williams in Donaldsonville, GA. She was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ at an early age and joined St. Luke A.M.E. Church.
She was employed by Marianna Health and Rehabilitation center for over twenty years.
She loved cooking and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Julius L. Smith, Sr., parents and brother James Williams.
She leaves cherished memories with her children: Christopher M. Davis of Antioch, CA, Sonya F. Smith of Donalsonville, GA and Julius Smith, Jr. of Malone, FL; siblings: Vince Williams of Pensacola, FL, Clyde Davis and Elmer Williams both of Malone, FL, Jimmie Davis, Jr. of Washington State, Oillie Williams of Bascom, FL and Clara Hunter of Donaldsonville, GA; grandchildren: Ja’Quan T. Stephens of Sneads, FL, Jaheim D. Jackson of Donaldsonville, GA, I’drees Smith of Albany, GA, Akili Smith of Florida City, Olivia Davis, Aaliyah Davis, Dee’Wanye Davis and Christopher Davis, Jr. all of Antioch, CA; great grandchildren: Josiah and Mosiah Stephens both of Sneads, FL; special nephew: Kvonza Williams of St. Petersburg, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties other relatives and friends.
