Mrs. Gladys Godwin Pittman, of Greenwood, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida.
Mrs. Pittman was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in the Two Egg Community of Greenwood, Florida. To know her was to love her.
The Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11:00 A. M. from the sanctuary of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church located at 3996 Wintergreen Road, Greenwood, Florida, with the Reverend Kevin Williams, the Reverend Ira Godwin, and the Reverend Luther Farmer, officiating.
Mrs. Pittman will lie in state from 10:00 A. M. until time for the service.
Interment in the church cemetery. Vann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 1:00 P. M. to 6:00 P. M. from the chapel of Vann Funeral Home.
Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance will be followed for social distancing and the wearing of masks for everyone’s safety during the viewing and the funeral service.
Mrs. Pittman leaves to celebrate a life of lasting love and memories, a loving and devoted family:
