Mr. Willie Lee Hall, also known as “Fire Ball Hall,” age 80 of Malone, FL, passed away
peacefully at home on Sunday, June 18, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. 


Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 24th at Mt. Zion Missionary
Baptist Church 5382 Old US Road Malone, Florida with Rev. Mark Dudley officiating and Rev.
George Jones Jr., eulogist. Interment will follow in church cemetery with McKinnie Funeral
Home of Campbellton, FL directing. 


Public viewing for family and friends will be held from 4- 6 p.m. Friday, June 23 rd at the Shira,
Sr. and Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel located at 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton,
FL. 
Willie Lee Hall was born in May 9, 1943 in Cottonwood, AL to Bessie Gurtman and Herbert
Keys. He attended school at Rosenwall High School in Panama City, FL. He joined Mt. Zion
MB church in Malone, FL at an early age and remained a member.


He retired from Sunland Center in Marianna, FL and was a brick Mason by trade. He was the
founder of the M and M Raiders community softball team. He loved fishing, softball, and
gathering with friends and family. He loved his community and his community loved him.
He was preceded in death by his son Kelcy Hall.


He leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories with his devoted family.
His wife of 58 years: Maretha Hall; son: Richie (Jo) Hall of Pensacola, FL; daughters: Brenda
of Eustis, FL and Cynthia of Cowarts, AL; sisters: Ailer Hall and Eve Ruth of Panama City, FL,
Nellie Ruth Balkcom, Beatrice Keys and Dorothy Oliver all of Malone, FL; brother: Charlie
(Retha) Keys and Ben (Mary) Keys of Marianna, FL; sister-in-laws: Rosa (Andrew) Lewis,
Sandy Sanders-Sims and Harriet Sanders-Davis (Richard) all of Malone, FL; brother-in-laws:
Henry Sanders and Amos Sanders, Jr. both of Malone, FL; grandchildren: Vanessa (Cameron)
Dozier, TJ, Travis (Jere’) Hall, Porshia (Cedric) Allen, Summer Hall, Alex Hall, Ryshaun Hall,
Latosha Hall, Kenoshia (Jock) White, Xavier Davis, Takyia Pope and Justin Hall; special niece:
Shirley Smith of Panama City, FL and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other
relatives and many dear friends.
