On Friday, January 28, 2022, Mr. Willie James Mount, aka “Duck”, age 60, of Malone, Florida slipped away to join his loved ones in Heaven.
“Duck” was born on June 20, 1961 to Katie Jean Mount in Donalsonville, Georgia.
Willie was preceded in death by his soulmate, Donna Spates; his mother, Katie Jean Mount.
He is survived by his daughters: Shanese Spates and Lizzie Spates Newton (Curtis) of Malone, Florida; grandchildren: Curtis Lee Newton, Jr., and Bryce Marie Newton; aunts and uncle: Mae Ola Mount of Malone, Florida, Macy Mount of Malone, Florida, Viola Bell of Malone, Florida, Alberta McLeroy of Saint Petersburg, Florida and Robert Mount of Greenwood, Florida; special nephews: Joshua Williams (Kim) of Cottondale, Florida and Micheal Melton (CaSandra) of Marianna, Florida; devoted and loving friends: Allen Davis of Malone, Florida, Elmer Smith of Malone, Florida and Kenny Wayne Nix of Gordon, Alabama and Thomas Diddys of Bascom, Florida; sisters and brothers-in-law: Earl Spates of Malone, Florida, Harold Spates, Jr., (Zinda) of Bascom, Florida, Morris Lee Spates of Malone, Florida, Veronica Spates of Malone, Florida and Carol Lee Dickens (Joe) of Cottondale, Florida; a devoted friend: numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will begin at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 6, 2022 in the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper Street, Graceville, Florida under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville.
