Mr. Raymond Jerome Macon age 69 of Schertz, TX and formerly of Malone, FL passed away Thursday July 30th at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
A Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 8th at the McChapel A.M.E. Church Cemetery located 4963 Old US Road Campbellton, FL with Reverends Christopher Jordon, Aaron Ross and Eulogist Minister Wendy Smith officiating and with Mckinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing.
A public viewing will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, August 7th at the Shira Sr. and Chelcie Memorial Chapel located 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton, FL.
Raymond Jerome Macon Sr. was born on Dec 2, 1950 in Gordon AL; to the late Lenzie Williams and Elijah Macon. He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Zion A.M.E Church in Mulberry, FL earlier in life and later joined Greater St. Luke A.M.E in Malone, FL where he was a faithful member until his health began to fail.
He enjoyed fishing and having conversations about Jesus and the bible. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Ivery Joe Maise.
He leaves behind to honor his memory; his four loving children: Sinandra Hunt (Alexander) of Schertz, TX, Raymond J Macon, Jr. of Tampa, FL, Yolanda Williams of Lakeland, FL, and Miranda Washington of Mulberry, FL.
Nine siblings: Felton Maise (Cheryl) of Lakeland, FL; Perman Williams, Curtis Smiley both of Malone, FL. Andrew Miley and Calvin Miley both of Marianna, FL; Barbara Williams, Jackie Miley, Lilly Lane (Albert), Glenda Figgers all of Malone, FL.
Five Grandchildren: Alexander Hunt Jr., Alacia Stancil, Marquailis Williams (Rachel), Dominique Hunt, Demarcus Williams, Brian Washington Jr., and DeAysia Williams.
Three Great grandchildren: Asharie Tillman, Nylah Blake, and Serenity Johnson
Special cousins Mary Bailey and Elmer Williams.
And a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
