Mr. Murry Lee Moore of Blountstown, Florida transitioned from this life on Thursday, August 12, 2021 in Calhoun-Liberty Hospital.


On July 3, 1939, Murry Lee Moore was born to the late Mr. Charles Starger and Ms. Linda Moore. He worked as a sawmill operator for most of his life. Mr. Moore was a funny, loving brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was an all-around man, who loved everyone he came in contact with. Mr. Moore brought life and laughter to those around him.

Mr. Moore’s life’s journey came to an end on August 12, 2021 in Calhoun-Liberty Hospital. To know him, was to love him.


Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Magnolia Cemetery in Blountstown, Florida with Minister Lynette Williams, Pastor Larry McKenzie, and Bishop Micah John Martin, Sr. officiating. Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.


A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 225, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.


Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance will be followed requiring masks and social distancing for the viewing and graveside service for the safety and protect of the family and those who attend.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving family:
Ex-wife: Pearlie Moore
Three Sisters: Lillie Daughtrey (the late Nehemiah); Bertha Sercye (Moses), and Dorothy Brown (the late Johnny Brown)
One Uncle: Sim Moore
And many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
