Mr. Lester Robinson age 82 of Bascom, FL (formerly of Campbellton) passed away Monday October 25th 2021, at Jackson Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
A graveside service were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 30th at Williams Chapel Cemetery located at 458 Williams Chapel Road Gordon, Alabama, with Rev. John David Williams and Rev. Earnestine Daniels officiating and with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, Florida directing.
Lester Robinson known to many as “Sun” was born on December 18, 1938 was born to the late Floyd Robinson and the late Bertha Lee Daniels in Campbellton, FL.
Mr. Robinson was a devoted family man that loved to go fishing. His favorite song was “Jesus Keep Me Near The Cross”.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Roy Lee Robinson; granddaughter: Derika Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Ella Robinson; children: NeAuthor Robinson (Tapitha), Floyd Robinson, Sr., Terry Robinson and Derry (Priscilla) Robinson; sister: Noral Robinson; Inlaws: Larry Collins, Mary Ann Griffin (Willie, Jr.), Mariah Knox, Beddie Martin; grandchildren: Courtney Robinson, Shaquille Robinson, Kadihra Robinson, Marquis Walker, Michael Robinson (Crystal), Tanisha Walker, Floyd Robinson, Jr. (Dornita), Olivia Robinson, Audrea Slater, Tyler Robinson and Tannyann Robinson, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
