Mr. John Franklin Williams Jr. 75 of Kynesville, FL, passed away peacefully at Chipola Health and Rehab on Friday, September 2, 2022 with his daughter by his side.
John was a retired Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force as well as a retired Health Services Administrator from the Department of Correction of Florida. He was a faithful member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Marianna, Florida. He enjoyed attending and volunteering at Church, video editing, shooting, and watching sports among many other activities.
He was preceeded in death by his beloved wife, Janice H. Williams, parents, John F. Williams Sr. and Beulah M. Williams and daughter, Tracy L. Williams.
He is survived by his daughter, Erin Jones of NC; son, Kevin Williams and wife, Paula of NC; daughter, Kimberly and husband, Jay Nichols of FL; and his sister, JoEllen Welsh of TN; grandchildren, Deaven DeBord of NC, Eva Jones of NC, Breanna Hale of NC, Adrian Vasquez of NC, Amanda Hamilton of FL, Hunter and husband, Austin Smith of FL, Rebecca Lancaster of KY, and Tyler Nichols and wife, Michelle of FL; as well as five great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Amylia, Margaret, Mallory, and Blake.
Visitation will be 9:00 AM Friday, September 9, 2022 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, a funeral Mass will follow at 10 AM, with Father Phillip Fortin officiating and burial immediately following at New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Directing.
