Mr. James Young, age 76, of Graceville, Florida went home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2022.
Mr. James Young was born on March 10, 1946 in Campbellton, Florida to Charlie Sr., and Cleste Blaine Young.
James was a Barber at Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys for several yours.
He is survived by his son, James Lewis Young and wife Stephanie of Dothan, Alabama; grandchildren: Vakel Baker and Jamal Brooks; great grandchild: Emery Brooks; siblings: Carrie Jean Sorey of Campbellton, Florida, Irene and husband Dennis Bellamy of Youngsville, North Carolina, Katherine Young of Graceville, Florida, Ellen and husband Timothy Joyner Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, Charlie Lee Young, Jr. and wife Mattizine of Leesville, Louisiana, Roy Lee and wife Felecia Young of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jerry Young of Spring Lake, North Carolina, William Young and Murray Young of Campbellton, Florida; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will be Wednesday, October 5, 2022, 3-6 PM, at the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper Street, Graceville, Florida.
A celebration of life will begin at 1 PM, Thursday, October 6, 2022 in the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel with the Elder James A. Bighem officiating. Interment will follow with military honors in the St. Paul/New Bethel Cemetery in Campbellton, Florida under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida of Graceville, Florida.
