Mr. Elige Lee McCray age 81 of Seattle, WA and formerly of Dothan, AL passed away Friday April 22nd at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday May 7th at the Shira Sr. and Chelcie Memorial Chapel located 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton, FL with Reverend David Britt and Elder Carolyn Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Abbeville, AL with Mckinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing. Viewing will be held one hour prior the service.
Elige Lee McCray was born April 1, 1941 in Abbeville Alabama to the late Roy McCray and Rosa Lee Taylor. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized in the name of Jesus.
Lee lived in Seattle Washington for 30 years. He loved his music and cars. The joy of his life was his eight daughters and family.
He leaves to cherish his memories, eight daughters: Rebecca (Willie) Petty, Brenda (Kenneth) McCray, Jennifer McCray, Stacie Ash, Cassidy (Marcus) McCray, Amarosa (Tony) McCray, Telearamaine McCray and Stephenie McCray
Brothers: Michael (Karlene) McCray, James McCray, David Lee McCray
Sisters: Keisha (Joe) Stewart, Pennies (Edward) McCray- McCoach,
Saleshea McCray and Shalanda McCray and a host of grand children, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and Friends.
