Mr. Eddie Clemons, Jr., age 79, of Jacob City, Florida, on Thursday, September 2, 2021, boarded the Heavenly bound train at 04:40 am, and left us the following message: “If you miss me singing down here, Oh, come on up to bright glory, you’ll find me singing up there.

Mr. Ed was born on April 15, 1942 in Jackson County, Florida to Eddie and Ezella “Bay” White Clemons.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his Personal Lord and Savior at an early age at Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Jacob City, Florida, where he served faithfully in the Choir.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother; one brother, Arnick Clemons, and his sisters: Arene Overton, Rena Brown, Anna Tanner, Maddia Thompson and Ernestine Clemons.

Ed was a product of the Jackson County School System and faithfully worked until retirement from the Bayline Railroad.

Ed leaves to cherish his memory his niece/caregiver, Alice Taylor (Reverend Henry E. Taylor); sister: Lula Anderson of Ocala, Florida; stepchildren: Ann Gillette and Christopher Saulsberry; a godson Johnnie Beechem, Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends; a special friend, Lola Collins.

Public walk-through viewing will be Friday, September 10, 2021, 3-6 PM, in the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper Street, Graceville, FL.

A celebration of life will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Obadiah White officiating, under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.
