Mr. Ed Neal Holden of Marianna, Florida entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 28th at the Signature Healthcare at the Courtyard. He was 98 years old.
A native of Jackson County, he was of the Baptist faith and a member of New Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves precious memories with a special granddaughter, Allyson Staley of Marianna, Florida; step-daughter, Norma Merritt of Marianna, Florida; one sister, Ruby Keel of Marianna, Florida; one brother, Albert Lovett of Fairfield, California; two sisters-in-law, Floreta Lovett of Tampa, Florida and Louise Lovett of Marianna, Florida; long-time caregiver, Elizabeth Jordan of Miami, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, December 5th at 11 a.m. at New Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Steven Andrews, Rev. Mark Dudley and Minister Tony Hill officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
