Mr. Dwayne L. Gilbert age 55 of Marianna, FL passed away Sunday May 1st at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held 11a.m. Saturday May 14th at Shira Sr. and Chelcie Mckinnie Memorial Chapel located 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton, FL with the Reverend Lonnie Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Malone, FL with Mckinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing. A public viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday May 13th at the funeral home.
Dwayne Gilbert was born May 5th, 1966 in Donaldsonville, GA to Doris Gilbert and the late James L. Young. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized in the name of Jesus.
He leaves to cherish his memories, children: Tekeria Gilbert, Chanteria Gilbert (Johnathan), Kelton Gilbert (Taylor), Daveon Gilbert (Tasha), Anastashia Jones (Justin), and Dwayne Gilbert Jr.
Sisters: Valerie Harris (Everett), Theresa Luckey, Cynthia Borden (John) and Theresa Young.
Brothers: Barrett Young (Sherrie) and Anthony Young.
His significant other of more than ten years: Ms. Marsha Furr
Thirteen Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and Friends.
