Mr. Arthur Ree Edwards of Marianna entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 6th at Jackson Hospital. He was 72 years old.
He was of the Methodist faith and a former member of Pope Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
He leaves precious memories with one daughter, Pamela Edwards of Atlanta, Georgia; two brothers, Richard Edwards, Jr and Micah Edwards both of Marianna, Florida; one sister, Deborah Edwards-Pickhardt and husband Vernon of Palmetto, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held graveside Sunday, August 16th at 9 a.m. at Nubbin Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Maurice Herring and Exhorter Linda Roulhac officiating. Interment will follow with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
