Mother Josie Lee Epps Johnson, age 95, of the Jerusalem Community of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Monday, July 26, 2021 at her residence.
Mother Johnson was a lifelong and the oldest member of the Jerusalem African Methodist Episcopal Church where she served as a Deaconess. She loved her family. To know her was to love her.
Graveside Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 10:00 AM from the Jerusalem Cemetery with Bishop Nicholas Curry, Reverend Daryl Johnson, Sr., and Elder DeRon Johnson officiating. Vann Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance regarding masks and social distancing will be followed for the safety of the family and those who attend the viewing and graveside service.

Mother Johnson leaves to celebrate her legacy, a loving family:
Four Sons: Ronnie W. Johnson, Sr. (Anguel) of Ozark, Alabama; Kelvin Johnson (Aileen); and Tommy Johnson both of Marianna, Florida; and Reverend Daryl L. Johnson, Sr. (Angela) of Sneads, Florida

One Daughter: Zearwanna Johnson of Marianna, Florida

One Sister-in-Law: Lucille Johnson Bentley of Atlanta, Georgia

One Brother-in-Law: William Johnson (Bernice) of Detroit, Michigan

And a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
