Miriam E. “Boots” Bradley, 66, of Monticello Fl. Passed away in the early hours of February 26th, 2023, at Big Bend Hospice, with loved ones by her side. She answered the ultimate call from her Lord and Savior after a brief illness.

She was born in Jacksonville. Fl. And was the first born of four children. The family moved around the Tristate area and back to Jacksonville in her teens. She learned to play the guitar at a early age and it was a constant companion and a passion of hers for the rest of her life.

She worked in the industry of horticulture and landscaping in N. Florida, Augusta GA. And Texas for over 30 years. She loved the work she did and obtained status of Texas Certified Nurseryman. After retiring she moved to Monticello to be near her family.

Miriam was proceeded in death by her father George Core Snelgrove, mother Mary Elizabeth Snelgrove, brother William “Bill” Snelgrove, and nephews Dustin Simmons and Jake Snelgrove.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Rosenshein (Jeremy), of Blountstown, son Carl Bradley (Angie), of Chipley, brother Paul Snelgrove (Gail), of Marianna, sister Mendy Simmons, of Monticello, nephew Jesse Snelgrove (Kristina), of Marianna, great nephews Waylon and Jacob Snelgrove and great niece Holly Snelgrove of Marianna and many cousins she loved dearly.

A Memorial service will be held on March 11, 2023 at 10:00 am (CST), at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Marianna Fl., with interment to follow at Snelgrove Cemetery in Cypress Fl. Afterwards, the family will receive and welcome friends and family to gather and celebrate her life.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests donations be made to Big Bend Hospice in honor of Miriam.
