Minnie Muriel McCoy Martin, 84, of Marianna, Florida died Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Marianna Health and Rehab. Minnie was born November 29, 1938 to the late Thomas and Minnie Sullivan McCoy. More than anything, Minnie loved her Lord, church and family, In her free time, she enjoyed reading, browsing thrift stores and finding that perfect antique treasure.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, James T. McCoy, George C. McCoy; son, Joshua W. Blount III; granddaughter, Heather Gilmore; great-granddaughter, Madeline Gilmore; son-in-law, Edward “Vic” Williams and grandson-in-law, Ken Davis.
Minnie is survived by her daughters, Joyce Williams, Janet Porter Spink (Michael), Joanna Stevens (Larry); grandson, Joshua W. Blount IV, James M. Porter II (Dana), Jonathan M. Porter; granddaughters, Mandi Epley (Jeff), Jessica Mercer, Jennifer Davis, Jordan Mercer-Gonzalez, Lillian Stevens; great-grandchildren, Jace Epley, Cassidy Willet, Carissa H. Porter, Andrew Saunders, Dorothy Simpson, Keileigh Williams (Garrett), Denea Neel and Bella Gonzalez; siblings, Shirley Yates, Troy E. McCoy, John G. McCoy, Sheryl Boone, Drucile Hagan, Julianne Martin, Edward L. McCoy.
Graveside services at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens were conducted Friday, April 14, 2023 with Pastors Jeff Knight & Lavon Pettis officiating. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directed.
