Mrs. Mary Louis (Harris) Jackson, of Caryville, Florida, answered the call of her Lord & Savior on June 21, 2020. She was 95 years old and native of Caryville, Florida.
Mary Louise was born on October 24, 1924 to the late Jessie Harris & Mary Magaline (Gibson) Harris in Caryville, Florida. Having a personal relationship with Christ she was a member of the St. Mary A.M.E. Church of Caryville, Florida. Mary Louise was a homemaker and raised her children with love and tender care. She was a member of Pallbearer Society and the Order of Eastern Stars.
She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters: Priscilla (Derry) Robinson of Campbellton, Florida, and Edna Pearl Jackson of Caryville, Florida; four sons: Sterling Jackson, Jr. of Chipley, Florida, Whit Adam Jackson, Willie Earl Jackson, and James Robert Jackson, all of Caryville, Florida; 16 grandchildren and a host of great & great-grandchildren; sister: Sarah Jackson of Caryville, Florida; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Mary Louise’s Life will be held 2 PM CST, Saturday, June 27, 2020 from the sacred grounds of the St. Mary Cemetery, Caryville, Florida with Rev. L.V. Farmer and Rev. Richard Davis III, officiating. Public Walk-Through Viewing will be held from 12 Noon – 5 PM CST, Friday, June 26, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home in Chipley, Florida.
