Mary Frances Cobb, 93, of Marianna died Friday, February 12, 2021 at her home.
She was born in Ashford, AL. on January 22, 1928 to the late Jesse and Laura Buckhalter Barwick. She was a wonderful christian women. She was a lifelong member of Marianna Church of God and had most recently attended Page Pond Assembly of God for several years. She enjoying shopping and cooking. She loved spending time with family. Frances always had a beautiful smile.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Laura B. Barwick; her husband, Harvey Cobb; brothers, William Barwick, Coy Barwick, Don Barwick, Horace Barwick, Rudolph Barwick and Foy Lee Barwick; sisters, Nellie Mae Barwick, Louise “Tinker” Harrison and Alice Barwick; a son, Jimmy Lee Cobb.
Survivors include her sons, Dennis Wayne Cobb (Peggy), Clifford Eugene Cobb (Freda), Thimothy Cobb (Wanda), Jody Cobb (Candy); nine grandchildren, Lena Smith (Robbie), Dennis E. Cobb (Glenda), Sabrina Ramirez (Cruz), Jamie Glass, Camie Sanford (Derek), Ethan Cobb, Cindel Cobb, Lee Cobb (Rebecca), Jessica Holland (Justin); 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Carnley, Doris Adkins, Joyce “Tilly” Jones and Eloise Collins; brothers, Jack Barwick and Larry Carnley.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
