Mary Ann Walls Kwiecinski, 78, of Bossier City, LA passed away at her
daughter’s home in Dallas, TX on September 2, 2021. Her parents, Buford
and Cecilia Walls of Cottondale, FL and her husband of 55 oyears, Lt.
Colonel Warren Kwiecinski, preceded her in death. She was survived by
her daughters, Kristina Bowman and Karen Kwiecinski, and her son, Cory
Kwiecinski. Mary Ann enjoyed raising her three children and was the loving
grandma for 5 terrific grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. After raising
her children, she enjoyed many years of traveling the continental United
States in an RV with her husband. She loved exploring the many national
parks and had fond memories of fly fishing in Alaska. She loved cooking,
cross stitching, reading, gardening, and playing games with her
grandchildren. She died peacefully holding the hands of her daughter,
Kristina and granddaughter, Lauren from a long battle of Alzheimer’s
disease. Her visitation and rosary will be held at Lucas Funeral Home in
Keller, Texas on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 11:00 am followed by a
funeral mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She will be
buried next to her husband in Cottondale, Florida later this year. Family
asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Alzheimer’s
Association.
