Mary Alice Thweatt Skipper, 89 of Noma, Florida passed from this life on, Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
Ms. Mary was born in Esto, Florida on February 25, 1933. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, she retired as a Postmaster with Noma Post Office and was a member of Noma Assembly of God Church. She is a longtime member of the Marianna Chapter #129, OES, Marianna, Florida.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert “Buddy” Skipper, parents Andrew J. Thweatt and Camella Vanlandingham Thweatt, stepmother Lou Veel Smith Thweatt and a son-in-law Ronnie Cochran.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Cochran, three sons, Randy Skipper (Mary), Greg Skipper (Renae), Andy Skipper (Nancy), four grandchildren Courtney Cochran, Lana Poole (Alex), Ashley Skipper (Christian), Garet Skipper (Presley), three great grandchildren Mackinlee Skipper, Lawson Skipper, Audrey Skipper; two brothers Carl Thweatt, Donald Thweatt and one sister Sylvia Thweatt, several nieces and nephews.
A Home-going service will be 11 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2022, at the Noma Assembly of God Church with Rev. Clyde Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Noma Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
