Marvelle Deanna Dedman, also known as Marve, Mom and Grammy, 64 of Marianna, Florida went to meet Jesus with her family by her side, Sunday, September 19, 2021.

Marvelle was born in Monroe, Michigan in 1956. She moved to South Florida with her family when she was 5 years old. She grew up on a house boat named “Que Sera” at the Jib Club in Jupitar, Florida, with her mother. Marvelle and Rick met, fell in love, and got married in 1979; they had 2 children shortly after. Marvelle worked in a private home on Jupitar Island for 20 years. In 2005, Marve and Rick moved to Chipley, Florida, where both their children shortly followed. Marvelle’s greatest passion was always Jesus, she loved the Lord with all her heart and soul. She also loved his scriptures, angels and her 5 grandchildren above anything else. Marvelle loved her plants and gardening so much as well and could bring back to life any wilted plant you handed her. She also enjoyed the butterfly garden her son Ricky created for her. Marvelle loved her dogs and cats, especially Buddy and Chester. She loved thrift stores, decorating cakes and cooking for her family. She loved life, people, and being social; she also had a very generous soul and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Fast cars were her fun getaway, with the pace car she owned and her latest, her silver Dodge Charger R/T with the RED interior.

Marvelle was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Rita Schudel.

She is survived by her husband, Richard “Rick” D. Dedman, Sr.; daughter, Deanna Waymire (Casey); son, Richard “Ricky” D. Dedman, Jr.; grandchildren, Sydney Waymire, Owen Waymire, Aubrey Dedman, Alyvia Dedman, Alannah Dedman, Colton Bagwell; goddaughter, Sierra Pound; godson, Michael Ross; sisters, Claudia Hill (James), Gayle Schudel, Paula Schudel; and lots of nieces and nephews.

Rest in heaven Mom.
