Martha Habbard, 79 of Slocomb, Alabama entered her Heavenly home, Saturday, November 26, 2022.

Mrs. Martha was a lifelong resident of Geneva County, Alabama. A 1960 graduate of Slocomb High School, Mrs. Martha was owner/operator of Wiregrass Maid Service before her retirement. Her specialty was baking and was known for her cream cheese pound cake. Mrs. Martha loved upholstering and sewing and had many projects over the years. She also loved to hike and enjoy the fresh outdoors. Mrs. Martha was a longtime member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents R.V. Miller and Dixie Blount Miller.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years Bro. Addis Habbard, three children Lisa Dukes (David), Michelle Turvin (Keith), Adam Habbard (Leslie), one brother Billy Miller, one sister JoAnn Forehand, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A Home-going service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with Benny Haddan, Bro. Luther Pumphrey and Bro. Larry Newton officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the church 9 a.m. until time of service.
