Marlin Eugene Flanders, age 83, of Thonotosassa, FL went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Lifepath Hospice in Tampa, FL.
Marlin was born on April 7, 1938 to the late Millard and Armetta Flanders. He attended Pilgrims Rest Church. Marlin enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Marlin was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Flanders; daughter, Michelle Flanders; parents, Millard and Armetta Flanders; brothers, Houston Flanders and Don Flanders; and sister, Darlene McCroan.
He is survived by one son, Michael Flanders and wife, Leann of Tampa, FL; four daughters, Marlene Bass, Beverly Flanders, and Catherine Flanders all of Tampa. FL, and Marilynn Clark of Rochelle, GA; sister, Gloria Wilson and husband, Danny of Altha, FL; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Marlin will be 11 A.M., Friday, October 22, 2021 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend Ellis Vickery officiating. Interment will follow in New Shiloh Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10 A.M., at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
