Marjorie Chamberlain, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away in the presence of family Thursday, February 16th, 2023, at 6:30am, at the age of 94.
A private family celebration of Marjorie’s life is planned soon.
She will always be remembered in our hearts as a wonderful, caring, and selfless mother who made the lives of all those around her better. Marjorie was born in Marcellus, MI to her parent’s pastor Revy Smith and Edna Crawford Smith and she was the second youngest of ten children. After graduating high school, she was a legal assistant to a prominent attorney in the area for several years. In 1950 she married Bryon Robert Chamberlain, and they were happily married for over 58 years. She is survived by three sons, Peter, Bob and Richard, their wives, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was involved with her husband Bob Chamberlain in B.R. Chamberlain Foundation for Public Enrichment in Windermere, FL. Marjorie throughout her life was very athletic and was an intense competitor in both tennis and golf later in life. She will be greatly missed by those who love her dearly, but we take comfort that she’s again reunited with our father in heaven.
