Margie Mae Daniels Johnson, 87, of Chattahoochee, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019. She was born on March 3, 1932 in Chattahoochee, Florida to the late Allie and the late Jim Daniels. Margie attended Stevens High School in Quincy, Florida. She retired from Florida State Hospital after 33 years of service. Margie was a faithful member to Glory Apostolic Church. She was well known for her heart of gold, and her unconditional love of God and her family. Her memories are mournful now, but will become warm and comforting in the years to come. Margie’s love for her family was immeasurable, unending, and unconditional.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband: R.S. Johnson. Margie leaves to cherish her memory, her siblings: Esther Mae Brown of Washington, DC and Franklin Daniels of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; children: Barbara Washington of San Leon, Texas, Ira J. Daniels (Dianne) and Mary Ann Johnson Barber both of Chattahoochee Florida, Easter Johnson-Green of California and Delois Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Margie will be forever missed by her family and friends. May her legacy continue through all the lives she touched as we cherish her memory, laughter, tender-heart and sweet spirit.
