Steven Alexander Mantecon appeared before Judge Wade Mercer Friday morning with additional charges from Saturday night’s first-degree murder charge. Mantecon was originally charged with the murder of Blake Cain.
Friday morning, he was appeared on nine counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of criminal mischief and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle.
Bond was set at $5,000 on each count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for a total of $45,000 plus $25,000 bond on the shooting into an occupied vehicle and $1000 each on the criminal mischief. Total bond for the additional charges is $72,000.
Mantecon is being held without bond on the first-degree murder charge.
