Lynda Rene Bondurant, after a courageous two-year battle with ovarian cancer, died on October 22, 2020 at her home in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Lynda was born on October 2, 1959 in Marianna, Florida. Following her graduation from Marianna High School in 1977, she earned her AA from Chipola College and later her BS in Accounting from Troy University. She was a licensed Certified Public Accountant and owned her own business in Iron City, Georgia for a number of years.

After moving to New Orleans in 2017, Lynda worked at The Fudgery where her singing and unsinkable, exuberant personality delighted her customers, many of whom became friends.

She leaves behind her husband, Steven Kim of New Orleans, Louisiana; her mother, Lorene Prather of Marianna, Florida; her brother, Frank Bondurant (Pam) of Marianna, Florida; her daughters, Amanda Davis of New Orleans, Louisiana, Kristen Roland (Adam) of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Jamie Miller of Grand Ridge, Florida; and her grandchildren, Bryanna Hardy of Iron City, Georgia, and Addison and Eden Roland of Port St. Lucie, Florida; two special first cousins, Deborah Locke Couch and Jimmy Locke (Mary D.).

Graveside funeral services will be Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11 AM in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
