Lou Ann Arnold, 69 of Graceville, passed from this life to her eternal one surrounded by her beloved family on, Saturday, April 8, 2023.
Lou Ann was born in Providence, Rhode Island on September 11, 1953, to the late Jim and Margaret “Margie” Spelman Sims. Moving to Graceville at an early age, LouAnn was a graduate of Graceville High School, Class of 1971. She was retired from CCA and was of the Christian faith. LouAnn loved spending time with family and making the most of every moment spent with them.
She is survived by her devoted husband Rick Melendez, three sons Greg (Terre) Arnold, Kevin (Georgia) Arnold, Derrick (Amy) Arnold, four bonus children Clyde Melendez, Anita Melendez, Timothy Melendez, Michael Melendez, six grandchildren Chase (Dara) Arnold, Andrea (Trent) Jackson, Wiley (Meghan) Beauchamp, Jon Beauchamp, Brantley Arnold, Emma Arnold, four great grandchildren Evelyn Arnold, Fenton Beauchamp, Annabella Beauchamp, Bristol Beauchamp, one sister Dianna (Danny) Garcia), three brothers David Sims, Steve (Donna) Sims, Charles (Twila) Sims, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held, 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Newton officiating. The burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, 1 p.m. until time of service.
