Lola Irene Teeter, age 88, of Panama City Beach, formerly of Marianna, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at St. Andrews Bay Nursing and Rehab Center.
Lola was born November 4, 1934 in Kansas City, MO. She moved to Jackson County in November of 2000 from Hagerstown, MD where she was an Office Manager for the Tourism Department as well as the Supervisor for the Satellite Highway Information Facilities for Washington County, Maryland. She was of the Lutheran Faith and had a heart for helping others. She was a volunteer for the Marianna Habitat for Humanity and was also involved in the AMVETS Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Clifford Teeter of Panama City Beach; son, John Teeter and wife, Anne of Chester, MD; daughter, Toni Burdick and husband, Anthony of Belview, MI; two grandchildren, Larry Burdick and Alicia Campbell, as well as five great grandchildren.
A celebration of life ceremony will be 1 P.M. January 16, 2023 at AMVETS Post 47, 8317 Front Beach Suite 14, Panama City Beach with Pastor Nicole Martin of the Messiah Lutheran Church, Panama City will be officiating. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
