Linda, age 80, of Alford, Florida, passed to her heavenly home, on Saturday, September 3, 2021. She was was surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to William B. Singleton and Edna Gainer Singleton, on October 22, 1940.
She is preceded in death by husband Louis Jeter, her sister, Martha Wilkes, and her brother, Bill Singleton.
Linda loved being around friends and family and never met a stranger. She had a sense of humor that brought a smile to everyone around her. Her love for her Savior radiated throughout her life. She enjoyed the beach, gardening, and writing.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Those of us who had the privilege to know her, will count it as true blessing. She cared for the sick, mended the broken hearted, and dried many tears.
Her occupations included telephone operator, teacher, and social worker. She loved all of them.
Her hopes and prayers is that you love the Lord your God, with all your heart, mind, and soul, and love your neighbor as yourself.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Kent-Forest Funeral Home, Panama City, FL. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Service will follow at 2 p.m. with Dr. Steve Taylor officiating.
