SOLICITATION OF SEALED BIDS FOR NEW SITE BUILT “STICK” HOMES AND

MANUFACTURED HOMES

A Pre-Bid Conference for BOTH MANUFACTURED HOMES and STICK BUILT HOMES will be held on Thursday November 18, 2021, at 9:00am at the Jackson County Administration  Office, Meeting Hall/Board Room, located at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida. Plan on arriving early. Bid packages will be given to only the principal signers of the contracting companies attending the pre-bid conference who arrive promptly. Please note we will accept stick-built home bids for the manufactured preferred properties.

After a brief meeting at the Jackson County Administration Office, group mandatory walkthroughs for the properties  will be held. Any contractor not remaining with the group and failing to be present at each property within 10 minutes of the group will not be permitted to bid. No contractor is permitted to view the property or contact the property owner individually without the presence of the remaining group of contractors and the HHRP Coordinator.

Sealed bids for all the properties will be received at the Jackson County Administration Building, located at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida, beginning Thursday November 18, 2021, at 12:00pm, until Thursday December 2, 2021,  at 10:00am. at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud, at the Jackson County Administration Office, Small Conference Room/Meeting Hall. Plan to be there early; no bid will be accepted after 10:00am on December 2, 2021.

For bids to be considered, all contractors must follow Bid Packet Information Requirements and submit all forms required  at the Pre-Bid Conference which includes: all itemized costs, total bid cost, must be in ink, and must be signed by the submitting contractor in separate envelopes designating the property address. Any bid that does not meet these requirements and those requested in the Bid Packet will not be considered. ECRC and/or Jackson County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. FAXED copies will not be accepted.  Closing dates for Manufactured and Stick Built homes will be at the above location, tentatively set for the morning of December 21, 2021, time to be announced.

The building is to be constructed at the Jackson County Fire Rescue Office located at 5422 Cliff Street, Graceville, FL 32440. Contractor shall be responsible for providing all permits, labor, materials, machinery, and equipment necessary to construct and complete the project.

The building being requested will be used primarily for equipment storage and will be placed on a newly constructed concrete slab foundation. The existing work surface will require some concrete demo as well as concrete installation. There are two 12x12ft rollup doors required on the building however, no insulation is required. There are no utilities to be installed.
