LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE SERVICES – ARPA

The Jackson County Board of County Commissioners is requesting proposals from qualified law firms to perform various tasks as outlined for Legal and Compliance Services pertaining to the County’s expenditure of funds received from the U.S. Department of the Treasury in conjunction with the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.  It is the intent of the County to select and negotiate one contract, with a firm that meets the requirements outlined in the RFP.

Submittals must include the following:

Submittal Cover Sheet, Firm qualifications and capabilities, Work Plan, Evidence of registration and statement of professional liability insurance and license(s), Proposed Fee Schedule, and Signed copies as required of Affidavits and Acknowledgements.

Proposers shall be ranked per the following selection criteria:

Qualifications and Experiences of Law Firm

Experience with Legal Compliance Services for Governmental Entities & Counties

Current Experience of the Individual Legal Team members

Cost for Services

Upon selection of a qualified firm by the County, the firm shall meet with the owner, evaluate the proposal requirements and review the ARPA guidance. After final review, the firm shall conduct a final cost breakdown and enter into a contract with the County.

Proposals must be submitted by 2:00 P.M. CST on Monday, August 16, 2021 at Jackson County Board of County Commissioners, 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida 32448. Proposals will be opened immediately following the deadline at the same location.
