AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JACKSON COUNTY, FLORIDA, EXTENDING, RENEWING, RESTATING, AND REIMPOSING THE SIX-CENT LOCAL OPTION FUEL TAX AUTHORIZED UNDER SECTION 336.025(1)(A), FLORIDA STATUTES, FOR A TERM OF 30 YEARS; AMENDING SECTION 94-51 OF THE JACKSON COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATED TO THE SIX-CENT LOCAL OPTION GAS TAX; PROVIDING LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS; PROVIDING FOR NOTICE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

The proposed ordinance may be inspected by the public at the Offices of the County Commission located at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida 32448. Those offices can be contacted by telephone at 850-482-9633.
