Oakdale Townhomes (2023145) – A request for a Preliminary Plat to develop 40-lot residential Townhomes on property owned by Panhandle North, LLC to be located on Hope School Drive approximately 540 feet west of the intersection of Hwy 71 South and Hope School Drive in unincorporated Jackson County. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF MARIANNA, FLORIDA SPECIAL MEETING
Notice is herby given that the City Commission for the City of Marianna, Florida will hold a Public Hearing on June 13th, 2023, at 5:01 PM (CST) or as soon as thereafter as the matter may be heard. The meeting location will be in the City Commission Room, located at 2898 Green St., Marianna, Florida and is for the purpose of considering approval of the proposed City of Marianna, Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), State Revolving Fund (SRF), adoption of the Facility Plan for the implementation of improvements of multiple waterlines and meters. This hearing will include a discussion of the Drinking Water Facility Plan and the financial impact on system users. The hearing is intended to afford individuals the opportunity to be heard on the economic and social effects of the location, design, and environmental impact of the clean water system improvements.
The funding for this project is anticipated to come from the FDEP DWSRF loan program. In general, the project will include replacement of a multitude of waterlines throughout the City along with replacement of water meters throughout the City.
Reports, documents, and data relevant to the discussion are available for public review at City Hall.

The City of Graceville is seeking civil engineering services relating to the design of improvements for the Cliff Street/2nd Avenue Paving Project. The scope of this project will include the surveying, design, and permitting (if applicable) to complete infrastructure improvements and resurfacing of Cliff Street from Prim Avenue to CR 169 (Peanut Road) and reconstruction of 2nd Avenue from Brown Street to CR 169 (Peanut Road). Included in this project will be widening the roadway to two 10” wide travel lanes with 3” grassed shoulders on each side and shallow grassed roadside swales. Some isolated pavement reconstruction will be required on Cliff Street in severely damaged areas that will be identified during the design process. 2nd Avenue will consist of reconstructing the 20’ wide roadway with new base and pavement along with shoulder gutter. The most appropriate design standards will be utilized for this project. Also included in this project will be evaluation of driveways for the appropriate treatment to protect the new edge of pavement, appropriate shoulder treatment, necessary drainage culvert improvements, updated signage as needed, and upgraded pavement markings. Also included in this project is one bridge that will be evaluated for repair (Bridge no. 535191 over Little Creek). Five of the ten timber piles are damaged and need to be replaced. In addition, the timber pile caps are damaged and will also need to be replaced. The city will be paying for any necessary Utility Improvements. No right of way will be required. Total length of the project is 0.671 miles within the City Limits of Florida as identified in the City’s Local Agency Participation contract with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Consideration will be given to only those firms that are qualified pursuant to law and that have been prequalified by FDOT to perform the indicated types of work.
