TOWN OF SNEADS, FLORIDA REQUEST FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES PROPOSALS.

The Town of Sneads requests proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide engineering services for a Florida Boating Improvement Program (FBIP) grant (FWC grant agreement #22030). Engineering services will include project design, surveying, permitting, and bid document preparation for a boat launch facility to be located at Sneads Park. Proposals will be considered on an equal competitive basis using the following criteria: (1) Successful engineering experience related to boat launch facilities: Max. 30 points; (2) Proposed approach: Max. 25 points; (3) Engineering experience with rural communities: Max. 25 points; (4) Qualifications of project staffing: Max. 15 points; (5) Ability to stay within the project budget: Max. 5 points. One (1) original and five (5) copies of sealed proposals marked “RESPONSE TO THE TOWN OF SNEADS FBIP ENGINEERING SERVICES RFP” shall be delivered by Friday, February 24, 2023 to the Town of Sneads, P.O. Smith Setback Variance Request (2023052) – A request from Peter and Shelly Smith for approval of a variance from Section 42-455(1) of the Jackson County Code of Ordinances to allow their proposed site built dwelling to be constructed on the lot line between lots 14 and 15 of Block 37, Unit 3 of Compass Lake in the Hills Subdivision in unincorporated Jackson County.
Garcia Variance Request (2022471) – A request from Katherine Garcia for approval of a variance from Section 42-455(7) of the Jackson County Code of Ordinances to allow a mobile home on her lot in Compass Lake in the Hills that is located at 3050 Southern Boulevard in unincorporated Jackson County.
The public hearing will be held February 20, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Meeting Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida.
