Sealed Bids for Litter Removal Contract for County Rights-of-Way in Jackson County, FL will be received by Jackson County Board of County Commissioners at the office of the Jackson County Purchasing Agent located at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, FL 32448, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday March 16, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be “publicly” opened and read.
Contract Description: Provide pickup, removal, and disposal of litter within the maintained limits of County road rights-of-way over (+/- 1,045 miles). Proposed one-year contract with the owner option of 2nd and 3rd year renewal.
Bidders will be required to attend a MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time, to give the opportunity to ask questions of the Owner. All contractors and their subcontractors shall have adequate references showing performance of this type of work. Bidders may be required to submit detailed information regarding the staff that they propose for this project. The Contractor shall be capable of meeting all the requirements of the specifications at the time of the bid.
Bidders shall be contractors who are normally engaged in this type of work and shall be licensed as may be required under existing Federal, State, and County laws. Only bids from qualified Contractors will be considered.
