The Lady Bulldogs moved 3-2-3 on the season following a trio of games last week that all resulted in ties. A total of two goals were scored by a combination of both teams for the week. It was a defensive battle night after night.
Game one on Tuesday was a grueling game with no player finding the back of the box. Goalie Abigail Callahan had a key block on a penalty kick to keep the score knotted at zero.
Thursday, the Lady Bulldogs played to a 1-1 tie against Bozeman. Trelicia Jones scored the lone goal for the Lady Bulldogs. Abigail Callahan had five saves in goal, preserving the tie.
Friday night, the Lady Dogs traveled to Tallahassee to take on Rickards and once again, it was a defensive battle to the end. Marianna played to a 1-1 tie with their lone goal coming at the foot of their opponents. On a corner kick, the ball went off the foot of a Rickards player and into the goal to make it a tie game.
