Kyle Dyrin Wright, age 73, of Grand Ridge, FL, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family.
Kyle was born February 13, 1950 in Chattahoochee, FL and was a lifelong resident of Grand Ridge. Kyle was the son of the late Clayton and Grace Daniels Wright. He attended Grand Ridge Highschool and later became a mechanic, which gave him much experience that served him well throughout his life. Kyle was the President of Wright’s Recycling in Grand Ridge for 14 years. Kyle loved working, fishing, watching old westerns and playing bingo with his wife, Laura. Kyle will be missed greatly by his family, friends and those he formed relationships with throughout his career.
As his brother, Ronnie, would say “Cherio till next time”.
Kyle was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Patrick Register, Sr.; brother, Ronnie Wright; and granddaughter, Aaleisha Register.
He is survived by his loving wife, Laura McAlpin Wright; daughters, Keyela Hampton and husband, Robert of Panama City Beach, FL; Kaleigh Register of Grand Ridge; son, Kenny Register and wife, Jessica of Grand Ridge; grandchildren, Robert Neel Hampton, Javan-Lee Kyle Hampton, Patrick, Justin and Ayden Register, Courtleigh and Serenity Bailey; nephew, Clay Wright; a host of other nieces and nephews; best friends, Bruce Johnson and Harvey Franklin. He is also survived by a host of other special friends that were dear to him.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Dykes Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation, beginning one hour prior to the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
