Kimberly Mayo Hanson, age 45, entered into her eternal resting place while surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 in Panama City, FL after a lengthy illness.
Kim was born April 1, 1977 in Marianna, FL to Eddie Fred Mayo and Lela Ann Stephens Mayo. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, nana and friend. Kimberly was a CNA for many years and worked for many nursing homes in the area as well as Covenant Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lela Mayo; maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Walter Stephens; and paternal grandparents, Eva and Arthur Mayo.
Kim is survived by one son, Gable Hanson (Erica) of Chipley, FL; father, Eddie Mayo (Judy) of Round Lake, FL; brother, Donnie Mayo (Cindy) of Noma, FL; sisters, Beverly Stone (Chad) of Panama City, FL; Kelly Christmas (Josh) of Alford, FL; nieces and nephews, Logan, Mitchell, Cheyenne, Brandon, Ceianna, Dathan, Tyler, Ashton, Johanna, Nhyla, Rylee, and Ayla; as well as special friends, Damara Nix, Tim and Kayla Lassiter.
Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Round Lake Baptist Church with Reverend Charles Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Williams Family Cemetery in Alford, FL, with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Round Lake Baptist Church.
