Kelley Dianne Branch Phillmon, age 51, was born on June 19, 1968 in Richmond, Virginia, passed away on November 30, 2019 following a tragic car accident. She attended Grand Ridge High School, and grew up on a farm in Shady Grove, where she learned her trade of driving Semi’s. Kelley’s trade had her on the road for many years, lastly working for Service Auto Parts. Kelley had a heart of gold and was greatly known for always opening her home and heart to anyone or animal in need. Kelley will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but never forgotten.
She leaves behind her life partner, Greg Basford of Alford; three sons, Joshua Phillmon, Trevor Phillmon and Cameron McClendon; one stepson, Nicolas Basford; three granddaughters, Bella Phillmon, Trinity Phillmon, and Gracelyn Phillmon; one grandson, Little Paul Phillmon; her parents, Cecil and Joy Branch; one brother, Adam (Sandra) Branch; two sisters, Robin (Jeremy) Floyd, and Paula Mauney all of Grand Ridge; mother-in-law, Janell Phillmon; father and mother-in-law, Gary and Frances Basford; brother-in-law, Jay Basford; sisters-in-law, Crystal Basford, Mary Edwards and Barbara Hancock; five nieces, Megan Branch, Cara Pyke, Emily Floyd, Kimber Floyd, and Courtney Rudd; four nephews, Cody Pyke, Stetson Branch, Dustin Branch, Daniel Jacobs; two great nephews, Landon and Brady Pyke; two uncles, Harold (Judy) Branch, Marty (Cindy) Millard; three aunt, Charlotte Branch, Dorinda (Tim) Maloy, Annette (Charles) Stephens, and numerous cousins, family and friends.
Kelley was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lamar and Avie Branch; her maternal grandparents, Gene and Elizabeth Millard and Maxine Millard; two uncles, Ethan Branch, and Carl Branch; two aunts, Janice Branch and Rita Branch; and one niece, Ashley Branch.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 beginning at 1:00 PM Central Time at Shady Grove Methodist Church in Grand Ridge, FL with Rev. Charles Stephens, Rev. Joel Wasson and Rev. Ryan Martin officiating. Visitation for friends and family will be on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Central Time at McAlpin Funeral Home. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Grand Ridge, FL.
